Data sources and evidence
Every catalog fact has a source role, confidence level and update trail. This page explains what we use, what we do when sources disagree and what a number on a game page actually means.
Official evidence first
Provider portfolios, game specification pages and first-party demo launchers are our primary evidence. They define game identity, current availability and technical facts when those details are published.
Research sources enrich existing games
Licensed datasets can fill a missing field only after the game matches an existing provider and title identity. A research source cannot create a new public game page by itself.
Conflicts are withheld
Duplicate rows are merged field by field. If non-empty declarations disagree after typed normalization, the disputed field is omitted and recorded for review instead of choosing the most convenient value.
RTP is configuration-specific
Published RTP is a theoretical long-run return for a particular configuration, not a prediction for one session. Providers and operators may offer different approved configurations, so the value available in a casino can be lower or otherwise different.
Freshness is monitored separately
A successful download does not prove that the publisher changed its data that day. We retain acquisition fingerprints, source timestamps and coverage reports so transport freshness and content freshness remain separate signals.
