Use the demo well

Three things to watch

  1. Assign each portal a position and value

After a portal participates, note both its increased multiplier and its new cell. Value without access to nearby symbols may remain unused.

  2. Separate portal creation from usage

A Wild-free cluster creates the portal; a later cluster must include it before the value grows and moves. These are two distinct events.

  3. Watch merges before the next tumble

When portals meet, their values can combine. Check the resulting location immediately, because the stronger merged asset still needs a reachable cluster.

Our take

A cluster slot where every useful Wild changes the board for the next decision

Fire Portals gives persistent Wild progression a welcome spatial cost. Clusters of at least five matching symbols pay on a 7×7 grid and disappear for tumbles. When a winning cluster contains no Wild, the game creates a portal in that area. The new portal begins at 1x. Once it participates in a later win, it increases its multiplier and moves to another cell, so progress never guarantees the same useful position twice. Portals can also meet and merge, adding their values into one stronger asset. Three Scatters award at least ten Free Spins, and portals present on the triggering result remain for the feature alongside those created later. The reviewed configuration lists 96.06% RTP, very high volatility and a 10,000x maximum. Players who enjoy reading a dynamic board will have several meaningful things to follow: creation, access, growth, movement and merging. Those who want sticky Wilds to stay exactly where they proved useful may find relocation frustrating. Use the demo to follow one portal rather than the whole grid. Record where it was created, the cluster that activated it, and whether its next position improved or weakened its prospects. Then watch a merge. If that movement feels like strategic texture, Fire Portals has a distinctive identity; if it feels like progress being taken away, a stationary multiplier game will suit better.

How it plays

What happens when you spin

Wild-free clusters generate new portals, and every later use both increases the portal multiplier and relocates that asset elsewhere on the 49-cell board.

Five connected symbols form a cluster

Matching cells must touch horizontally or vertically. Winning symbols leave the grid and replacements tumble into the available positions.

Wild-free wins create new portals

When a qualifying cluster contains no existing Wild, a 1x portal is placed inside the affected area as potential support for a later result.

Used portals increase and relocate

A portal participating in a cluster raises its multiplier, pays under the feature rules and then moves to another position for the next opportunity.

Multiple portals can merge values

When portal movement brings assets together, their multipliers can combine into one stronger portal whose new location becomes the next point to track.

Progress that refuses to stand still

Every activation trades a higher value for a new position

The central tension is whether an improved portal remains accessible after moving. Merges look powerful, but location still decides whether the combined value participates again.

Quick answers

Fire Portals FAQ

Game settings can vary between casinos. Check the information screen in the version you are playing.

How are new Fire Portals created?

A winning cluster that does not already use a Wild creates a new 1x portal in the relevant area of the grid.

Why do portal positions change?

After a portal joins a win, its multiplier increases and the feature moves it to another cell for the next possible cluster.

Do portals persist in Free Spins?

Yes. Portals on the triggering result and those created during the feature persist between bonus turns under the reviewed rules.
