A respin feature where position matters as much as the values on screen

Hammerstorm collects coloured lightning into three chests above the reels. Any gem can randomly start the feature with five respins, and Thor on reel one can also trigger it alongside a lightning symbol. The bonus places a 2×2 collection zone at a random point on the grid for every respin. Coins and lightning bolts may show values up to 10,000x, but only symbols inside that active area are collected. Progressively collecting five, four and then three lightning symbols expands the zone to 3×3, 4×4 and finally 5×5, while awarding three, two and one additional respins at those thresholds. The chest modifiers change the structure. Double adds gold versions collected twice, Expand can enlarge the overall grid from 5×5 to 7×7, and Spins introduces +1 Spin symbols. Several can operate together. This makes the round easy to watch but not always easy to value: the eye naturally follows the biggest coin, even when it lands outside the zone. An expanded board also creates more total positions without guaranteeing the zone covers the useful ones. Very high volatility and the 10,000x ceiling allow dramatic results, yet incomplete zone growth can produce abrupt endings. In the demo, pause after every settled respin and identify zone position, collected bolts, next expansion threshold and active modifiers. That four-part read separates genuine development from visual noise. Players who enjoy positional collection and multi-stage features get a distinctive Viking slot. Those who dislike seeing prizes miss because they fall one cell outside an active area may find the randomness unusually visible.
